MD of Superannuation to retire from IRESS

Financial technology provider IRESS has announced the retirement of Stephen Mackley, managing director of superannuation, effective 31 August 2017.

He has been succeeded by Jeff Hall, former general manager of consulting, superannuation at IRESS.

Mackley was previously the CEO of Financial Synergy, the superannuation technology business acquired by IRESS in September 2016.

Commenting on the changes, IRESS CEO, Andrew Walsh, said: "I'd like to thank Stephen for his invaluable assistance since joining IRESS in ensuring a smooth integration, particularly for our clients and their members. We wish Stephen a very happy and long retirement."

Mackley said that he is looking forward to the next stage of his career and is seeking board appointments.

"It has been a pleasure to lead such an exceptional team during a period of strong growth and development for us, our clients and their members. IRESS and the Superannuation team are very well positioned to continue to meet the expanding needs of Australia's superannuation, wealth management and financial services industries."
