J.P. Morgan has confirmed to Industry Moves that its managing director, head of institutional sales, Russell Taylor, has left the firm, effective July 2017.

During more than 30 years with the firm, Taylor worked in a number of key sales roles across credit derivatives, structured credit products, securitisation, credit markets and rates. Most recently, he was managing the distribution of credit and alternative products to financial institutions in Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 1985, he worked as a senior accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers for three years.

Commenting on his departure, Taylor said: "I am currently taking time off to enjoy travel, family and sailing - which is my passion - and will announce my new exciting opportunity soon."

A spokesperson for J.P. Morgan said that there will not be a direct replacement for Taylor.
