Martyn Myer steps down as MFI Chair

Myer Family Investments Pty Ltd (MFI) has announced the departure of long standing chair, Martyn Myer.

Myer joined as chair in 2011 and will step down following the annual general meeting, held on 18 October 2016.

His successor is Sidney Myer, who is currently a non-executive director to the MFI board and a businessman and philanthropist.

Commenting on the board renewal, Martyn Myer said: "I am delighted that I will be succeeded by my cousin, Sidney, who has had a long tenure on this board and consequently has all the corporate memory required and considerable experience in the investment markets outside of the MFI Group."
