Manning departs Ellerston Capital

Mary Manning has departed Ellerston Capital. For more than nine years, Manning has been the portfolio manager of Ellerston Asia funds.

Fredy Hoh has been appointed as her replacement.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the organisation said, "Ellerston Capital would like to thank Ms Manning for her valuable contribution to the Fund since its inception in 2017 and wishes her all the best in her future endeavours."

A Canadian native, Manning started her funds management career as an investment banking analyst with Citigroup in New York, Moscow, and London. She became a financial analyst with Soros Fund Management in New York and spent time in New York and Singapore looking after emerging markets for Oaktree Capital.

Manning joined Ellerston in 2012 and looked after several funds during her time, including launching the Ellerston India Fund.
