Magellan MD assumes chief investment officer role

Magellan Financial Group has announced that Hamish Douglass will formally assume the role of chief investment officer while continuing to serve as the group's managing director and chief executive officer, as well as lead portfolio manager for the Magellan Global Fund and Magellan High Conviction Fund. The group also announced that Dr Brett Cairns will move from non-executive chair to executive-chair.
