Magellan appoints senior analyst to head franchise team

Magellan Financial Group has appointed former Macquarie executive Greg Dring to head its franchise team, with responsibility for leading all consumer sector related research. Dring will also join the company's investment committee. Dring's most recent role was as head of demand strategy at Neilsen Company and before that spent 25 years at Macquare, with the last 13 years as an executive director.
