Madison Financial Group, which was acquired by Clime in mid-2020, has appointed Jamie Johns as its new general manager.

Johns has more than 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles and has been with Madison Financial Group for more than five years. She was most recently the organisation's head of advice.

Johns joined Madison in 2015 as national manager of advice and business consulting. She previously held business development and network management roles with Capstone Financial Planning, Bendigo Adelaide Bank, and ING. She held advice and planner coaching roles with AMP and Genesys Wealth Advisers.

"The integration of Madison into Clime has been highly successful and enhanced our ability to support our adviser community," said Johns. "Having spent over five years with the business, it has been pleasing to see the success of our existing advice network, and our focus will now be on enhancing our offering and growing our client base to ensure more people are receiving best in class financial advice.

"I am confident we have the right team in place to deliver excellent outcomes across our core offering of strategic consulting, business solutions, corporate governance and compliance coaching. Further, recent improvements across our technology, systems and fee model have had a transformative impact on the business and establishes a great platform for the group."

Johns commenced in her new role in early June.
