Macquarie Group has announced the departure of managing director and chief executive officer, Nicholas Moore, effective November 2018.
Moore first joined Macquarie in 1986 and, according to the group, led the global development of its advisory, funds management, financing and securities businesses.
He was appointed chief executive officer in 2008.
Moore will be succeeded by Shemara Wikramanayake, the current group head of Macquarie Asset Management.
