BetaShares promotes Portfolio Manager to CIO

Louis Crous has been promoted to the role of chief investment officer at BetaShares. Crous joined BetaShares prior to the launch of its first ETF, and has overseen the firm's portfolio management since inception. He was previously a senior investment product specialist at nabInvest and prior to that with South Africa's Rand Merchant Bank in Sydney, London and Johannesburg. Crous' promotion was announced in addition to four new staff appointments across BetaShares' portfolio management, compliance, marketing and adviser services divisions.
