Lonsec appoints Executive Director, Investment Solutions as part of leadership restructure

Lonsec has announced that Lukasz de Pourbaix, chief investment officer of Investment Solutions, will continue to lead the business with the new title of executive director and CIO.

The change is part of a new 'executive director structure' which Lonsec CEO, Charlie Haynes, said will provide "greater unity between [the firm's] two major investment research arms, Lonsec Research and SuperRatings", enabling the firm to "leverage the depth and breadth of [its] investment product research in both the managed funds and superannuation space."

De Pourbaix is joined by Libby Newman, former head of manager research, who has been promoted to the role of executive director of Lonsec Research. Rounding out the team is SuperRatings CEO, Kirby Rappell, who will continue to lead the superannuation research business with the new title of executive director.
