Longreach Alternatives names COO

Samuel Mann, has confirmed to Industry Moves that he has partnered with Ironbark Asset Management to establish Longreach Alternatives, a firm providing tailored alternatives investment solutions to both institutional and retail investors.

Mann has also confirmed the appointment of Andrew Flitcroft as chief operating officer for the firm, effective February 2017.

Flitcroft joins Longreach Alternatives from NAB Asset Management, where he gained experience working as a project director and as head of boutiques and institutional product functions. During his time with NAB/MLC he also held various commercial roles, and previously worked at State Street.

Commenting on his new role, Flitcroft said: "The opportunity to broaden investors' choice of alternative exposures is very exciting."
