Long standing Hunter Hall BDM joins Folkestone

Folkestone Funds Management, part of Folkestone group, has announced the appointment of Monica Hood as a business development manager with the firm, effective 16 August 2017.

In her new role, Hood joins the firm's distribution team and will have a specific focus on growing Folkestone's distribution network, and servicing the needs of research houses, financial planning firms, master fund/wrap providers, and SMSFs.

Hood has more than 22 years' experience in the financial services industry, with the last 16 years spent in a senior business development manager role with Hunter Hall.

Commenting on her appointment, Adrian Harrington, head of funds management, said: "I am delighted to welcome Monica to the team. With our growing platform of listed and unlisted real estate funds, it is important we have an experienced team servicing our existing clients and expanding our distribution network."
