Long-serving Executive Director departs JANA

JANA has confirmed the retirement of long-serving executive director, David Holston, effective December 2016.

In acknowledging Holston's contribution to the firm over the past 17 years, JANA CEO Jim Lamborn said: "David has influenced every aspect of the firm and has been integral in the firm's success. David's passion for his clients has set the benchmark across the firm for many years and his positive influence on staff and clients alike has been immense."

Also leaving the firm, after 19 years of service, is senior consultant, Jim Kiely, effective February 2017.

Commenting on both departures, Lamborn said: "While David and Jim's extensive experience will be missed, we are fortunate that JANA has a deep, well-resourced team that allows a smooth transition of responsibilities. In addition to the progression of key staff, JANA has also been active in recruiting senior experienced investment professionals over the past year to add to the depth of the overall JANA team, which has accommodated for likely retirements."
