Long-serving Centrepoint executive retires

Centrepoint Alliance has announced the retirement of Soula Cargakis, group executive advice, effective July 2019.

Cargakis has worked for Centrepoint for 15 years and has more than 22 years' experience in the financial services industry. Prior to her current role, she served as Centrepoint's distribution and marketing executive and as chief executive officer of Associated Advisory Practices, a subsidiary of Centrepoint. She also served as Centrepoint's interim CEO following the departure of John de Zwart in November 2017.

Succeeding her is current group executive Paul Cullen, who Centrepoint CEO Angus Benbow said "is a natural fit for the role".

Taking over from Cullen is new-recruit Kate Anderson in the role of group executive advice services and solutions.
