Link Group announces new independent director

Link Administration Holdings Limited (Link Group) has announced the appointment of Peeyush Gupta as a director - independent of its board, effective 18 November 2016.

Gupta is currently the chair of Charter Hall Direct Property Management and Long Wale REIT, and a non-executive director on a range of commercial, public sector and not-for-profit boards including the National Australia Bank, iCare, SBS and Bank of New Zealand Life Insurance.

He has over 30 years' experience in wealth management and was the co-founder and inaugural CEO of IPAC Securities, a wealth management firm spanning financial advice and institutional portfolio management, which was acquired by AXA.

Commenting on his appointment, Link Group's chair, Michael Carapiet, said: "We are delighted to welcome Peeyush Gupta as a fellow director.
