King joins MGD Wealth in Brisbane

Julian King has joined Brisbane-based financial planning firm MGD Wealth as a senior client adviser.

King left ipac/AMP in mid-2020 after six years with the AFSL. He previously focused on SME clients with Prosperitus Pty Ltd, in conjunction with the accounting firm MGI Brisbane. He's also spent time as a planner and director with Ecential Financial and AMP Financial Planning.

He's joined at MGD Wealth's Brisbane operations but Julian de Blonk and Lee Chan.

MGD Wealth director Stephen Furness welcomed the trio to the firm. "The three new appointments bring a new depth of experience and expertise to our wealth management team, which will allow us to continue serving our clients seamlessly and comprehensively across all matters of their personal and business financial affairs".
