J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has confirmed that Stephen Alcorn will depart the role of head of institutional Australia.
It is understood that Alcorn's upcoming departure is a result of the firm's consolidation of the institutional and wholesale distribution teams following a strategic review.
Alcorn, who has nearly 30 years' experience in financial services, first joined JPMAM in March 2014. Prior to this he was head of institutional investments at Australian Unity and deputy managing director, asset management at BNY Mellon. He has also previously worked at Barclays Global Investors and GESB.
Alcorn is currently seeking new opportunities in the industry.
