JBWere promotes head of advice

JBWere has promoted their head of advice for Victoria, Andrew Bird, to general manager of advice.

The role has been vacant since March with the departure of Neville Azzopardi.

In an internal email obtained by Financial Standard, JBWere chief executive Justin Grenier said, "Andrew joined JBWere in September 2016 and his career spans more than 30 years across roles based in Melbourne, Tokyo, London, Jakarta and Singapore.

"During this time, Andrew worked for leading Australian and international institutions, including Fidelity, Schroder's, Citi Private Bank, Credit Suisse, Templeton Global, UBS and Lippo."
