Janus Henderson appoints Retail Sales Director from Paragon Funds Management

Independent global asset manager, Janus Henderson Investors, has announced the appointment of David Livera as retail sales director for Victoria, Western Australia and Tasmania, effective September 2017.

Livera joins from Paragon Funds Management where he was recently the head of distribution for seven months. Prior to this he spent nine years at Challenger where he was a senior business development manager. Prior to that he worked for APN Funds Management as a national key account manager for nearly four years.

Commenting on his appointment at Janus Henderson, head of distribution, Matt Gaden, said: "David is highly regarded in the Victorian market and we believe [his] extensive experience in funds management will contribute to our established national distribution team at Janus Henderson."

A spokesperson for Paragon Funds Management said the firm is not looking to replace Livera's role in the foreseeable future.
