JANA appoints Head of Specialised Investment & Business Development

David van Ryn has joined the team at JANA as the firm's head of specialised investment and business development, effective January 2016.

In the new role, his responsibilities include consulting to a range of key clients in the areas of asset allocation, manager selection and other investment related issues. In addition, he is responsible for JANA's direct investment unit and the business development team.

Van Ryn has 30 years' experience across consulting, banking and investment, including 22 years at Westpac where he held the roles of head of financial markets, head of capital markets solutions and head of structured derivatives.
