Irwin promoted at Pitcher

Pitcher Partners has promoted Sydney-based chief operating officer Adam Irwin to managing partner. He'll replace Rob Southwell, who is stepping down later this year.

Irwin has been chief operating officer for Pitcher Partners since coming across from Moore Stephens following their merger in 2015. He's been in the role since joining the organisation in 2002. He previously held management roles with Dunhill Management Services and Pacific Rim Technologues. He began his career as an accountant with Syntex Australia.

A spokesperson for Pitcher Partners said, "Adam brings a unique perspective to client engagements having sat on the other side of the table and stood in the client's shoes. He has led the firms' transformation journey - the operational, technological and change management elements of the merger, the firm's move to Darling Park and the firm's response to COVID-19."
