Iress names product chief

Fintech Iress has found its new product chief in US-based SaaS specialist Joydip Das.

Das is a former VP for consumer engagement with Salesforce and was the VP and head of product at Krux Digital, which was acquired by Salesforce in 2017. He's also held roles with SAP.

Most recently, Das was head of product at Socates AI, a US-based start-up for a conversational AI platform for enterprise businesses.

While Das is presently based in California, he'll return to Melbourne for his new role with Iress. He's previously held roles with Telstra, Unisys, and Daintree Networks in Australia.

Iress CEO Andrew Walsh says that he's delighted to appoint Das to the product and vision team. "Joydip brings more than 20 years' experience in software product leadership, across various markets and industries. He led the creation of SAP's first SaaS applications and cloud business unit, Ariba's global sourcing platform and Salesforce's next-generation marketing data and customer engagement platform."

Das will join the Iress leadership team when he commences in the role on 14 September.
