IRESS appoints new comms & marketing head

IRESS has announced the appointment of Coran Lill to the newly-created role of group executive of communications & marketing.

Lill will have responsibility for leading the existing communications and marketing team globally and report to IRESS chief executive Andrew Walsh.

Commenting on the appointment, Walsh said: "Coran brings a broad range of skills and experience to the role. He has a background as a corporate lawyer, business journalist and communications consultant. Most recently he has consulted to a range of fund managers, banks, insurers and dealer groups as well to technology companies, including IRESS."

He added: "Before this, [Coran] led the media relations team at BT Financial Group for several years and worked for a large public relations agency working for international companies across both corporate communications and marketing."

Lill will commence in the role in January 2017.
