Previously, Land held executive positions at Westpac, Nomura, and Thomson Reuters.

Specifically, he was head of investors at Thomson Reuters and head of fixed income and global flow dollar bloc products at Nomura.

Earlier, he served as global head of rate markets at Westpac and also a senior portfolio manager.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to lead the iPlatforms business with a primary focus on providing a cutting edge technology solution for fund managers and wealth managers to easily administer their alternatives portfolios," he said.

Additional senior hires include Jamie Griffiths, director of client solutions, and Chetan Sharma, director of platform solutions.

Griffith has worked with leading fintechs and financial service providers in Europe and the Asia Pacific for over a decade.

Finally, Chetan, who has more than 17 years of domestic and international experience in technology and professional services, will build a streamlined capability to implement, transition, and support clients throughout their lifecycle.

"We are thrilled to have James, Jamie, and Chetan join to lead the iPlatforms business as we look to roll out a number of significant platform enhancements across the next few months," said group chief executive Travis Miller.

The alternative investment platform has raised more than $2 billion across a wide range of alternative asset classes, including private credit, asset-backed debt, and property.
