IOOF appoints First State Super Partnerships Manager

IOOF has appointed Chris Deakin as the firm's new national key account manager. She and fellow new recruit, national business development manager Stephen Chainey, will be responsible for the development and maintenance of IOOF's relationships with its Employer Super partners and employer groups.

Deakin joins IOOF from First State Super where she managed strategic partnerships and also served as the national business development manager for the Health Super division. She has more than 25 years' experience in financial services, mostly in member-based organisations including superannuation funds and administrators, credit unions and medical defence (insurance), holding general management roles for business development and marketing.

Commenting on the appointments, Stephen Black, IOOF Head of Employer Super, said: "Stephen and Chris bring considerable experience to the team and we have every expectation they will build on our strong partnerships to provide an even better level of service to both our employers and our members."

Deakin and Chainey are based in IOOF's Melbourne office.
