Investment Consultant joins Contango team

Contango Asset Management has confirmed the appointment of Peter Bentley in the permanent role of investment consultant, effective December 2016.

In this role, Bentley is responsible for working with capital market participants to investigate and develop new investment research and identify new factors that can be incorporated into capital stewardship decisions. Bentley has a formal background in strategy, financial services and policy development. He established the McKell Institute in 2011, a public policy institute, and served as its founding executive director. He has worked as a policy director specialising in housing and infrastructure, a market research director, a lecturer in international finance and as an official of the Australian Labor Party.
