Investec Property Fund appoints Independent Director

Investec Australia Property Fund has announced the appointment of Georgina Lynch as an independent board director of Investec Property Ltd, effective 1 July 2019.

Lynch has over 25 years' experience in the financial services and property industry, having held senior roles at AMP Capital Investors, Galileo Funds Management and Stockland. Her current directorships include as independent chair of Cbus Property, and as an independent director of both Viva Energy REIT and Tassal Group Limited.

Commenting on her appointment, Investec Property Ltd chair Richard Longes said: "Georgina brings significant global experience in corporate transactions, capital raisings, initial public offerings, funds management, corporate strategy and acquisitions and divestments to the board."

He added: "Her skills complement those of other directors and her appointment strengthens the independence of the board."
