INVESTA names new CEO

The Investa Property Group (INVESTA) has announced the appointment of Jonathan Callaghan as chief executive officer. Callaghan has been with the group for more than 10 years, initially as group general counsel and most recently as managing director and finance director.

Callaghan is joined by fellow new appointee, Peter Managazzo, who has been named chief investment officer. Managazzo has been with INVESTA for more than 11 years, most recently as group executive and fund manager of the Investa Commercial Property Fund (ICPF).

Commenting on both Callaghan and Menegazzo's appointments, INVESTA chair David Baffsky said: "The Board is delighted to confirm these key appointments. Jonathan's broad experience, capability and intricate knowledge of the Investa platform and its people will deliver continuity, growth and ongoing strong performance, and we are excited about the prospect of giving Peter a broader strategic role across the platform."
