Invesco appoints Portfolio Manager

Independent investment management firm, Invesco, has announced the appointment of Richard 'CJ' Tsai as a portfolio manager in the Invesco Quantitative Strategies (IQS) group, effective 3 April 2018.

Tsai joins from BlackRock, where he spent over 10 years as a vice president. Prior to this, he worked for Russell Investments.

At Invesco he joins the three new senior IQS Australian equity portfolio managers, Neil Lahy, Andre Roberts and Ritchard Longmire.

Commenting on the new hires, Invesco Australia CEO Martin Franc said: "We're delighted that Neil, Ritchard, Andre and Richard have joined the Invesco group. We're highly confident that this will be a great fit for them and for our business and clients."

All four of the new hires have previously spent 10 years working together at BlackRock, managing quantitative Australian equity portfolios.
