Invesco Australia has added another quant to help step up its pitch for factor and multi-asset investment strategies.
In the new role, Scott Bennett will represent Invesco's several funds, including Invesco's quantitative strategies global asset allocation as well as indexing and investment solutions.
He will also assist with external researcher relationships and reviews of investment capabilities across institutional and wholesale channels.
Bennett joins from Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM), where he currently runs quantitative investment solutions for Asia Pacific.
He spent 14 years at Russell Investments holding several senior roles, including leading global quantitative research, being responsible for approximately $45 billion in factor investing - including portfolio completion strategies and ESG -and managing about $7 billion in Australian equities.
The latter includes multi-manager solutions, smart beta and after-tax.
