Infocus MD and CEO departs
Infocus Wealth Management (Infocus) has announced the departure of managing director and CEO, Rod Bristow, effective December 2017.
Bristow first joined Infocus in 2011 as chief operating officer before being appointed as MD and CEO in October 2012, replacing Infocus' founder, Darren Steinhardt, who moved into the role of chair (2012-January 2017).
Following Bristow's departure, Steinhardt will step back into the managing director role.
Commenting on the changes, Steinhardt said that he is "very excited to be back leading the company he founded with his wife Stephanie in 1994."
"I'm looking forward to being back at the helm of this wonderful company and leading our team of great and capable people. Infocus is seen as an industry leader in terms of compliance, use of technology, breadth of service and efficiency in the delivery of financial advice solutions for clients, we are well placed for growth and this is a path that we will now pursue."
Bristow added: "I am proud of my time as CEO at Infocus. During my time the company grown to become a stronger national organisation delivering wealth management solutions to Australians from all walks of life. I will be taking some time out personally between now and the New Year, I wish the company well on its next stage of growth."
