Industry fund co-chair steps down

First Super co-chair Lisa Marty will step down from her role on the industry fund board in mid-2020.

First Super represents people working in the timber industry, including paper, pulp, and furniture industries.

In addition to serving on the First Super board, Marty held several positions in related organisations including CEO of the Victorian Forest Industries and board positions with Wood Products Victoria and Australia Forest Products Association.

Marty first joined the First Super board in 2012 and has been co-chair since 2016.

Mike Radda, regional director for Herman Miller Australia, has been appointed to the board as Marty's replacement.

First Super CEO Bill Watson said Marty made many contributions to the fund during her tenure. "Lisa's experience and commitment to the sector and First Super members will be missed by the board and Trustee Office."
