Independent Director appointed to Contango MicroCap board

Contango MicroCap Limited has announced the appointment of Adrian Fitzpatrick to its board as an independent director, effective 11 July 2017.

Fitzpatrick is a former founding partner at Pitcher Partners and its predecessor firms, where he worked for 29 years. He is currently a director on the board of automobile accessory manufacturer ARB Corporation.

Commenting on his appointment, Contango's managing director and chief investment officer, George Boubouras, said to Industry Moves: "As the manager, Contango Asset Management is pleased to see such a high calibre independent director join the Contango MicroCap (CTN) board. We very much look forward to working with Adrian to deliver optimal returns for CTN investors."

Fitzpatrick will also join the firm's audit and risk committee.
