Implemented Portfolios appoints National Manager Marketing & Communications

Managed discretionary accounts provider, Implemented Portfolios, has announced the appointment of Naomi Christopher as national manager, marketing and communications.

Christopher, who has a decade's experience in marketing, communications and PR roles across the financial services industry, previously served as the communications manager at Midwinter Financial Services (now owned by Bravura Solutions) and, before that, at funds ratings research house, SQM Research.

Commenting on her appointment at Implemented Portfolios, Christopher said: "It's exciting to be entering such an innovative organisation amidst a time of significant change in the financial services industry."

She added: "I have a firm belief in the leadership and the whole team at Implemented Portfolios, as well as their philosophy towards the present and future of investment management and financial advice."

Implemented Portfolios has also announced the appointment of David Plumb as an independent director. Plumb's experience includes as chair of both the superannuation trustee board at Westpac / BT Westpac and as chair of Allianz Retire+.

In welcoming Christopher and Plumb, Implemented Portfolios' chief executive and chair Greg Kirk said: "Both appointments will add significant specialist skills to the Board and the Executive, at a critical time in the evolution of our business."

The firm also flagged that following a period of accelerated growth it is preparing "for some major upcoming projects and potential announcements."
