IFM recruits WTW executive

IFM Investors, a global investment manager owned by Australian industry funds, has appointed global head of product strategy and innovation.

With over two decades of experience in the asset management industry, Rekha Misra joins from WTW where she served as chief operating officer.

Previously, she held similar roles at Holland Capital Management, Barclays Funds and Advisory, and Credit Suisse Asset Management.

Reporting to IFM chief strategy officer Luba Nikulina, Misra is tasked with developing IFM's global product capabilities, identifying new market opportunities, and leading innovative initiatives.

"Rekha's global experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow our presence in key markets in North America, Asia, Europe and the United Kingdom," Nikulina said.

"I look forward to Rekha's leadership as we continue to explore new investment opportunities and innovations to bring them to market for the benefit of our clients."

Nikulina oversees a growing global team with Maria Nazarova-Doyle as global head of sustainable investment and John Gee-Grant as head of global client solutions, recently joining.

Misra added that IFM has a compelling vision, a comprehensive plan, a relentless focus on implementation and talented people working together.
