IFM names Australian risk and compliance director

IFM Investors has hired Amanda Oliver from Mercer to be their Australian director of risk and compliance.

A spokesperson for IFM confirmed the move this week, and says Oliver will report to Rob Babb, executive director for risk and compliance at IFM. The team has a different R&C director for each region, the US, UK/EU, Japan, and Australia.

Oliver replaces Lisa Rayner, who left to take on the head of consumer legal position with NAB in October of 2019.

Oliver has significant finance and superannuation experience, having served as Mercer's principal governence consultant for the last seven years. Before that, Oliver was a senior adviser in superannuation compliance with Rio Tinto.

IFM recently announced their new CEO would come from the FutureFund.
