The Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (ACSI) has announced the appointment of Ian Silk to its board, effective February 2017.

Silk is the CEO of AustralianSuper, Australia's largest super fund with $100 billion in FUM on behalf of more than two million members.

Joining Silk on the ACSI board is Candy Broad, independent director at First Super.

Commenting on their appointments, ACSI CEO, Louise Davidson, said: "The depths of experience, knowledge and skills both Candy and Ian bring with them will be an asset to the Board and to ACSI itself...I look forward to working with them both in the years ahead as we help enhance the long-term, sustainable value of the retirement savings entrusted to our members."
