T. Rowe Price has appointed Craig Hurt as its new head of institutional for Australia and New Zealand. He will begin the role on October 5, 2021.
T.Rowe Price said the appointment would allow the group's institutional sales team to enhance their level of engagement with clients as the firm looks to diversify its business in the institutional market.
Hurt will report to head of distribution for Australia and New Zealand, Darren Hall, and will be responsible for a growing team of institutional sales professionals.
Previously Hurt was country head of Australia and New Zealand with AXA Investment Managers.

He has an extensive track record as an experienced, consultative business builder, and possesses the business acumen and strategic mindset required to navigate a rapidly changing dynamic channel. His reputation and deep connections across the institutional market will support further opportunities for T. Rowe Price's growth," Hall said.
