Hunter Hall LIC names interim Director

Hunter Hall Global Value (ASX: HHV) has named Robert Millner as an interim director on its board, following the departure of former chair Paul Jensen at last week's extraordinary general meeting.

Millner is currently the chair of Washington H. Soul Pattinson and Company, HHV's second largest shareholder. He is also chair of BKI Investment Company, Milton Corporation, Brickworks and New Hope Corporation.

Millner agreed to take on the role of interim director at HHV in order to lift voluntary suspension from trading on the ASX and he will step down from the board when a permanent replacement is found.

Commenting on a replacement, deputy chair, David Groves, said that a search was already underway.

"We want to make an appointment as soon as practicable but we will not rush any decision at the expense of identifying the best possible candidate...in the meantime, we are grateful to Robert Millner for agreeing to take on the interim director role."
