Position: Chair - Hunter Hall Global Value

Following the results of Hunter Hall Global Value's (Hunter Hall) recent general meeting, the company has announced that chair, Paul Jensen, has departed the board, with 52 per cent of shareholders voting to carry this motion.

Jensen had been a member of the Hunter Hall board for 18 months.

In February 2017, Jensen stepped down as a director of the Wilson Asset Management (WAM) board due to "potential conflict" arising from the current relationship between WAM and Hunter Hall.

In a statement to the ASX, Hunter Hall deputy chair, David Groves, said: "While we absolutely accept the will of the shareholders to endorse and remove directors, my colleague Julian Constable and I would like to put on record Paul's tireless commitment to work in the best interests of HHV shareholders."

"He did so irrespective of sometimes very robust debate and differing views and objectives among shareholders."

Jensen's removal was one of seven motions put forward by WAM at the meeting, with the resolution to appoint three new board members and remove both Groves and Julian Constable from the board denied.
