Head of Strategy Delivery departs TelstraSuper

TelstraSuper has confirmed to Industry Moves the departure of head of strategy delivery, Michael Seton, effective mid-April 2018.

Seton, who was appointed to the role in January 2017, first joined the $19 billion fund from VicSuper where he was executive manager of products, project & financial planning.

Seton has over 30 years' experience in the financial services industry, primarily in superannuation, investment and insurance. Before joining VicSuper in 2012, he served as chief executive officer for both Military Super and AGEST Super.

At TelstraSuper he will be replaced by Guild Trustee Services' head of customer engagement, David Frost, who officially starts with the fund in April but, according to a spokesperson, is currently working with the fund through a hand over period.

Speaking to Industry Moves, TelstraSuper CEO, Chris Davies, said: "Michael has proven to be a great support to the fund over the past year and we wish him all the best for the future. His appointment was for a fixed period of time so we're very pleased to have now attracted David who will be able to build on the work undertaken to date. David will bring a wealth of knowledge from his extensive consulting career and has a great reputation for fund strategy as well as program management and delivery."
