Head of Product named for BT life team

BT Financial Group (BTFG) has confirmed the appointment of Kim Cohen as head of product for BT's life insurance business, effective June 2017.

In this role, her focus will be on driving forward product innovation and customer-focused solutions.

Cohen has 12 years' experience in life insurance, eight of those with BT's life insurance team, both in product and pricing roles. She rejoins BTFG after nearly two years at Pacific Life Re where she was a director, product development.

BTFG has also announced that Mark Bower will join its life insurance team as national manager, acquisitions and servicing.

Commenting on their appointments, head of life insurance operations, Scott Moffitt, said: "Both Kim and Mark bring with them a wealth of experience, a customer-focused approach and a steadfast belief in the important role that insurance plays in helping Australians protect their families. We warmly welcome both of them to the life insurance team."
