Head of Platforms to depart BTFG

BT Financial Group (BTFG) has confirmed the departure of Kelly Power as head of platforms, effective in 2018.

In this role, Power is responsible for managing BTFG's platform solutions, which include Asgard and BT Wrap, and is also responsible for the management and strategic direction of BT's operating system, BT Panorama.

Power has 16 years' experience in financial services and previously held roles with St George Bank and MLC.

Commenting on her upcoming departure, a BTFG spokesperson said: "We thank Kelly for the outstanding contribution she has made to our organisation over a number of years. Kelly has built a brilliant team who are highly capable with an in-depth understanding of the market, product and our future strategy and her responsibilities will temporarily be shared as we consider the best structure to continue to drive the success of our Platforms business."

It is understood that Power will be joining Colonial First State in March 2018 in a platforms-related role. More details to come.
