Head of Fixed Income & Multi-Sector announced at Yarra Capital Management

At the completion of the management buyout of Goldman Sachs Asset Management's (GSAM) Australian funds management platform and investment capabilities, it has been announced that Roy Keenan will take the reins as the new firm's head of fixed income and multi-sector.

Keenan is currently an executive director at GSAM.

A spokesperson has confirmed that the buyout is on track for completion at the end of December 2016 and that the firm will be rebranded as Yarra Capital Management.

In his new role at Yarra Capital Management, Keenan will join former Future Fund head, Mark Burgess, who takes on the role of independent chair; Dion Hershan, as managing director and head of equities; Katie Hudson, as head of Australian equities research and small cap PM; and Brett Davidson, as chief operating officer.
