JOSHUA WILSON
GROW Super - Chief Executive Officer
APPOINTMENT
GROW SUPER
Date: May 2017
Position: Chief Executive Officer

Recently launched millennial-focused super fund, GROW Super, has confirmed the appointment of co-founder Joshua Wilson as chief executive officer, effective May 2017.

Wilson has experience as a digital entrepreneur with a track record in both the startup and corporate sectors. GROW Super is his second venture following the success of his sports technology company, StatEdge, which he founded at age 23. StatEdge services the National Rugby League, NSW Rugby League, QLD Rugby League, and Capital Football.

He has also consulted to a number of fintech companies including R3 Ventures, the world's largest block chain organisation, and has previously managed digital innovation and product teams at the Commonwealth Bank.

Joining Wilson in the executive team are fellow co-founders Matthew Keeley, as head of platform and education, Duncan Shrimpton, as creative director, and Simon Hannigan, as chief financial officer.

Commenting, Wilson said: "We created GROW because we wanted a super fund that we would actually want to use ourselves, one that allows you to build wealth and keep track of where you are now and where you want to go, and gives you the tools to help you get there."

"We've been overwhelmed by the response to GROW. In less than four weeks, we have acquired more than 8000 customers. This uptake and the feedback we're receiving from our members shows that young people aren't disengaged, they just needed a fund that actually makes sense and provides the right tools to actually help them manage their super."
