Group Exec - Financial Markets to depart IRESS

Financial technology provider IRESS has announced changes to its global leadership team that will see the departure of group executive - financial markets, Matthew Rady, effective towards the end of September 2017.

In a statement to the ASX, the firm said that the changes have been made to "strengthen focus and delivery, drive continued growth and ensure alignment to its long term goals," with Rady's role being dissolved as part of the process.

Rady first joined IRESS in June 2014 to look after the firm's global financial markets. He previously spent 18 years with Macquarie Group, most recently as head of Macquarie's North American banking and financial services group, based in Toronto.

Also leaving IRESS is Steve Barnes, whose role of chief operating officer has also been dissolved.

Commenting on both departures, IRESS' chief executive officer, Andrew Walsh, said: "I thank Steve Barnes and Matt Rady for their service and commitment to IRESS. Both have shown dedication in their roles and I wish them all the best for the future."
