Global Co-Head of Listed Equities appointed at IFM

A spokesperson for IFM Investors (IFM) has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of Neil Carter as co-head of listed equities, following a restructure of the firm's equities team, as reported in AFR's Street Talk.

He will share the role with IFM's former global head of indexed & quantitative equities, Aidan Puddy, and together they will lead a team of 27 investment professionals.

Carter joined IFM in 2012 as head of active equities, responsible for managing the firm's active equities investment, advisory and management functions. Before this, he was a division director at Macquarie Investment Management, responsible for portfolio management, research methodology, recruitment and marketing. Previously, he held roles at Rutherglen Capital and ABN AMRO.
