Boutique investment manager, Glennon Capital, has announced the appointment of Tim Powditch as the firm's new portfolio manager, effective 4 October 2017.
In this role, Powditch will focus on small and mid-cap ASX listed stocks, joining the firm's existing chief investment officer, Michael Glennon.
In welcoming Powditch, Glennon said: "Tim's wealth of experience and industry knowledge make him a key addition to the team. Tim is a skilled stock picker and previous portfolio manager with a history of identifying stocks trading below their intrinsic value and a welcome addition to the team."
Powditch has over 30 years' investment experience including 10 years in portfolio management at BNP Paribas and Citigroup, and as a partner at both Shaw Stockbroking and Bligh Capital, specialising in small cap equities.
Commenting on his appointment, Powditch said: "I truly believe that there is significant value for investors by investing where there is least quality research being conducted by the market. I am excited to be joining the Glennon team, and keen to focus on my core skill, identifying small and mid-cap stocks that the market has miss-valued."
