Georg Chmiel joins Centrepoint Alliance board

Centrepoint Alliance has announced that Georg Chmiel has joined its board as a non-executive director.

Chmiel has over 22 years' experience across financial services, online media and real estate. He was most recently the managing director and CEO of IProperty Group, Asia's number one online property group.

Previously, he was managing director and CEO of LJ Hooker Group and held the position of CFO and general manager international at REA Group Ltd. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

He is also a member of Centrepoint's group audit, risk & compliance committee.

Commenting on his appointment, chair Alan Fisher said: "We are delighted to welcome Georg to Centrepoint and look forward to the contribution that he will make to the Group.
