GBST appoints new Chief Financial Officer

Fintech firm GBST has announced the appointment of Matthew Walton as chief financial officer (CFO), effective 15 October 2018.

Walton has over 20 years' experience in the industry and was previously CFO at Afterpay and Vow Financial and interim CFO at eftpos Payments Australia. He succeeds Gareth Turner, who joined GBST in December 2017.

Commenting on Walton's appointment, the firm's chief executive officer and managing director, Rob DeDominicis, said: "We are delighted with Matthew's appointment as he will be a valuable addition to the Executive Team. He brings a vast amount of sector-specific finance and leadership experience to the Company."
